Jeanne Gibson-Stumpf built this headboard made from repurposed wooden antique exterior shutters that she’s had for several years. She added a small crown molding, corbels, a narrow shelf and decorative trim.

The color is a color match…adding a wreath that is lightweight and is easily removed for sleeping, white bedding and an old quilt completes the look. The bedroom wall paint color is Sea Salt from Sherwin Williams. The decorative pillow is from Kirkland’s and the quilt is her daughter’s that she had as a child.

The long flowy white curtains on the window are from Target. Jeanne said she made the wreath from lambs ear and eucalyptus leaves!

This decorative trim is from the frame of her old bathroom mirror! Gorgeous DIY project!
