Kim Lomnitz had this outdated fireplace for over 20 years and she was due for an upgrade! So her and her husband did this stone fireplace all by themselves! Here’s the before and after photo…

I love the fireplace so much but can we just take in the beauty of all her farmhouse decor pieces?! Love that distressed old window and greenery she used.

Kim said “We used Eldorado Stone bought from a stone company in town. They had a lot of styles and colors to choose from. It’s a cultured stone so it’s not as heavy as real stone. The hardest part actually was mapping out the stone. That was my job, hubby did mortar and placement.”

The exact stone used is called Cliffstone from Eldorado Stone
