April Dickey gave this old armoire a makeover into a coffee bar! It turned out so neat! Here’s the before photo of it.

And here’s the after! So gorgeous!

April explained how she made it…”I purchased the armoire from a local lady off of fb market place in my area. 1st, I gutted the top part/inside. I scrubbed it inside and out. I purchased 1×6 pine and lined the inside ( 3 sides, not ceiling). I then trimmed the top interior with case molding. To fill in gaps in corners I used cove mold. I caulked areas needed & painted the whole inside & ceiling Satin white interior paint. I dry brushed the blue chalk paint onto the top trim only. Next, hung light. I drilled a hole in the ceiling center and ran cord. It plugs into an outlet behind the coffee bar.

Then added the decor. All black letters and decals are made of vinyl. I cut them myself using my commercial grade cutter. I designed my own decals using Sure Cuts A lot software. I placed a solid white melamine board on bottom for coffee maker to sit on for easy clean up. Metal Coffee Cup holders- I purchased at hobby lobby and ripped them down to the base and redid them to fit my theme. Each coffee cup hanging I added a vinyl saying on them. The big coffee sign in back I purchased from hobby lobby. The vinyl words/spoons I made.

The shelves on the right, I purchased wood boxes from Dollar Tree, painted and used a screw to hold in place. The boxes the creamer/ sugar sit on are made from wood I cut in pieces to fit the coaster I purchased at dollar tree. The actual creamer/ Sugar containers were clear glass from the dollar tree and i spray painted them white, painted center black, vinyled my words. The stick stir bottle- glass from dollar tree, I sprayed with white spray paint, matte fusion, vinyled wording. Also the boxes the coffee, tea, cocoa are in and on from dollar tree, I painted them. The little stands that coffee pods are sitting on came from hobby lobby as well as coffee cup on door. I purchased the blank tea towel from walmart and I designed and printed the picture/saying by using sublimation. The top drawer holds coffee supplies, bottom drawer holds my pampered chef.

The sugar/creamer do have real sugar & creamer in them. I added the chocolate & caramel to add to your drink. I have cocoa, tea, coffee of different flavors on the left. On the right I have coffee pods & sweet n low along with stir sticks. The sign about hot husband I made buy purchasing a wood box, painted it, design saying, printed out saying and then decoupaged it onto the box, sealed it, hung it with a screw. The wood boards I lined it with are adhered with liquid nails. There did not use any nails.

I painted the outside with chalk paint and the inside of the doors. Sealed it with chalk wax. Placed my rug at the bottom. I keep the doors open all the time and light on. I put the light from amazon.”
