This darling flower clay pot cow was made by Kendra Charbonneau! She says “She is made out of 4 small clay pots and 2 medium clay pots. All from Dollar Tree. I painted them with a couple of coats of regular acrylic paint. I tied a piece of jute through 2 of the pots to make the arms and glued the jute across the top of the pot before I put on the head. The bell is off of a dollar tree garden flower that I used on another project. (So glad I saved those bells.) The hair is yarn I had on hand I simply wrapped it around my hand like when you make a tassel. I tied it in a section and cut both sides. After I glued it on the head I separated a small section and trimmed it to make bangs so you could see her eyes. I used a sharpie to draw the eyes but used paint for the spots. The brush kind of determined their shapes. Now the ears… I thought about using felt. I thought about using foam board. I DID contemplate using a couple of my wooden spoons. In the long run I didn’t have the correct felt, nor did I have foam board on hand and with everything going on I wasn’t going to the store to get some. I did however have crayola brand kids clay that air dries. LOL with the times I keep hearing over and over use what you have on hand so I did. I hope it inspires you to make one. Be creative! I love seeing what all of you make.”
To keep all the pots together she used hot glue and e6000.
